Terms & Conditions: Win a Week’s Bell Tent Escape Competition

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Entry into this competition signifies your acceptance of these terms.
1.⁠ ⁠The Promoter:
The promoter of this competition is The Cosy Canvas Co., based in Perth, Scotland.
2.⁠ ⁠Competition Period:
Entries open at [Start Time, e.g., 9:00 AM] on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, and close at [End Time, e.g., 5:00 PM] on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 (the “Competition Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
3.⁠ ⁠Eligibility:
a. This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over only.
b. Employees of The Cosy Canvas Co., their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
c. Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
4.⁠ ⁠How to Enter:
a. To enter, participants must scan the designated QR code at The Cosy Canvas Co. event on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, and complete the online entry form as instructed.
b. No purchase is necessary to enter.
5.⁠ ⁠The Prize:
a. One (1) winner will receive a 7-day (one week) rental of The Cosy Classic (4m) Bell Tent Bundle.
b. The Cosy Classic (4m) Bell Tent Bundle includes: a 4m bell tent (with groundsheet, pegs, mallet), Double/Twin Sleep Comfort Add-on (2 inflatable air frames, 2 memory foam mattresses, 2 bedside tables), and an Electric Hookup Add-on.
c. The approximate retail value of the prize is £364.00.
d. The prize must be redeemed by December 31st, 2025.
e. The prize is subject to availability of the tent bundle and The Cosy Canvas Co.’s standard booking terms and conditions (available on our website). Specific dates and locations may be subject to availability. Exclusions may apply during peak demand periods or specific events as communicated by The Cosy Canvas Co.
f. The prize is for the rental of the tent bundle only and does not include campsite fees, travel to and from the campsite, personal expenses, additional add-ons, or any other costs unless explicitly stated.
g. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
6.⁠ ⁠Winner Selection & Notification:
a. The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.
b. The draw will take place on Monday, July 14th, 2025.
c. The winner will be notified by email on the evening of Monday, July 14th, 2025.
d. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the notification email within 30 days from the date of notification. If the prize is not claimed within this period, it will be forfeited, and The Cosy Canvas Co. reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.
7.⁠ ⁠Publicity:
By entering this competition, the winner agrees to participate in any reasonable publicity required by The Cosy Canvas Co. without further compensation. This may include the use of their name and likeness in promotional materials.
8.⁠ ⁠Data Protection:
Any personal data submitted by entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and The Cosy Canvas Co.’s Privacy Policy. Data will be used for the purpose of administering this competition and, where consent is given, for marketing purposes.
9.⁠ ⁠General Conditions:
a. The Cosy Canvas Co. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these Terms & Conditions without prior notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical difficulties beyond its reasonable control.
b. The Cosy Canvas Co. is not responsible for entries that are lost, misdirected, or not received due to any technical or human error.
c. The decision of The Cosy Canvas Co. regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.⁠ ⁠Governing Law:
This competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by Scottish and UK law, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish and UK courts.
