What is included in a bell tent rental?
Your bell tent hire includes the tent itself plus your chosen package (Just the Tent, Cosy Sleep, or Full Comfort). We also include simple pre-trip guidance (so you know what to expect) and support during your stay if anything crops up. Delivery/setup/collection depends on the delivery option you choose
Where do you deliver?
We deliver across Scotland. Zone 1 includes delivery, set up and collection (2-night minimum). For other areas, delivery is priced by distance/zone and we’ll confirm the fee when you enquire.
What if the weather turns?
Scotland does what it wants—so we plan for it. We’ll share a quick weather plan before you arrive, and if anything isn’t right during your stay, message us and we’ll help fast. If we can’t put it right, you’re covered by our satisfaction guarantee (with cancellation/payment terms applying before arrival).
How much space do we need?
As a guide, you’ll need a flat, clear patch that fits the tent size plus guy ropes and a bit of walking room. We’ll confirm the exact space once we know your tent size and location, and we’ll flag any red flags (slopes, rocky ground, overhead branches) before delivery.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome by prior agreement. An additional pet security deposit of £100 applies—tell us when you enquire and we’ll confirm the amount.
What's your minimum hire?
Our standard minimum hire is 2 nights (unless we confirm otherwise in writing).
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally at least 1 week so we can plan delivery and setup properly, but if you’re closer than that, still enquire—we can sometimes make it work depending on the diary.
Can we change dates?
Yes, as long as we’ve got availability. Send us your preferred new dates and we’ll confirm what’s possible. If prices or delivery zones change between dates, we’ll always tell you before anything is final.
What happens if the tent is damaged?
We know outdoor kit gets used—small, normal wear is expected. If something is damaged beyond normal use, we’ll let you know what needs repaired/replaced and any costs involved. If something breaks during your stay, tell us straight away so we can help and stop it getting worse.
Do you take a security deposit?
Yes — there’s a £200 security deposit per booking. It’s used to cover loss, theft, excessive cleaning, or damage beyond normal wear.
Can we add a wood burner?
Yes, a wood burner can be added by request (subject to suitability and site rules). We’ll confirm what’s safe for your location and share simple safety guidance.
How does payment work?
To reserve your dates we take a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking. We also take a £200 security deposit per booking, and if you’re bringing a pet there’s an additional £100 pet deposit.
