FAQ
How much does it cost to rent a bell tent?
Our 4m bell tent starts at £50/night (just the tent) and our 6m starts at £70/night. Packages with bedding, lighting, and kitchen setups are available too. The longer you stay, the more you save — discounts from 5% (3 nights) up to 25% (14+ nights). Use our price calculator on the homepage to get an instant quote.
What is included in a bell tent rental?
- Just the Tent — Bell tent with zipped groundsheet. Bring your own bedding and gear.
- Cosy Sleep Package — Adds air frame and mattresses, bedding, and warm lighting.
- Full Cosy Bundle — Adds a camp kitchen, outdoor comfort pack, and power pack.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes — 2 nights minimum for all bookings.
How does delivery work?
- DIY — Collect from our base in Polmont for free and set up yourself.
- Done For You — We deliver, set up, and collect for a flat fee of £225, anywhere within 200 miles of Polmont.
How do I book?
Use the price calculator on our homepage to get your quote, then submit an enquiry. We’ll reply within 24 hours with availability and a payment link. 50% deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible — especially for summer weekends. We can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings (as little as 2 days’ notice), but we can’t guarantee availability.
What's the cancellation policy?
- 6+ weeks before: Full refund.
- 2–6 weeks before: 50% deposit retained.
- Under 2 weeks: No refund.
- No show: No refund.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — a £200 security deposit per tent, due 6 weeks before arrival. It’s fully refundable and returned within 5 working days after we inspect the tent provided there is no damage. If you’re bringing pets, there’s an additional £100 pet deposit (also refundable).
Can I bring my dog?
Yes — dogs are welcome in our bell tents. There’s a refundable £100 pet deposit per tent. Just make sure the campsite you’re staying at allows dogs too (most do).
What if the weather is bad?
Our bell tents are fully waterproof and wind-resistant — they handle Scottish weather well. We only cancel for genuine safety concerns (e.g. severe storm warnings), and you’d get a full refund in that case.
Do you set up the tent for us?
If you choose Done For You delivery (£225), yes — we deliver, set up everything, and collect after your stay. If you choose DIY, we’ll give you a setup guide and video tutorial. Setup takes about 20–30 minutes.
Can I add groceries to my booking?
Yes — our groceries concierge service costs £25 plus the cost of your groceries at receipt value. For orders over £150, there’s a 10% handling fee. Just tell us what you need and we’ll have it ready at your tent.
